WHY WE LOVE MARKHAM
Located 30 kilometres northeast of downtown Toronto, Markham is home to more than 350,000 people, as well as hundreds of corporate head offices and more than a thousand high tech and life science companies. The diverse, multicultural community is known for its rich history and heritage, as well as its strong local economy. Grab a coffee and take a stroll down the historic and charming downtown Unionville (where you’ll find our team’s main office); sit on a patio at one of the city’s world-class restaurants; or go for a walk, jog or bike ride along its more than 22 kilometres of scenic pathways. GETTING AROUND
Markham has easy access to major highways. In addition, it has several GO stations, as well as many stops along the York Region Transit route. Whether walking, driving or taking transit, there are many ways to get around the city.
A PLACE TO CALL HOME
A variety of neighbourhoods make up this community — from Unionville, Cornell and Markham Village, to Angus Glen, Greensborough, Markville and more. The city has a mix of new construction homes and condos, to older homes on tree-lined streets with loads of charm.
